Laurie Black specializes in location photography of interiors, furnishings, gardens, and food.
Laurie has developed a signature style over many years that can best be described as “inviting.”
Laurie and her husband, Mark King, work together as a team. Mark creates nuanced, natural
feeling light by blending strobe with daylight. Although they have fully embraced the advantages
of digital photography, Laurie and Mark continue to perfect the composition and lighting for
every image they shoot, just as they always did with film.
Laurie and Mark live in the scenic Columbia River Gorge, where they enjoy kayaking, mountain
biking, and some increasingly great local wines. |
